Exporting payment details

I need to be able to export the payment details from CiviEvent to my organisations Accounting package (MYOB). Is there any in-built way to expeort these details out of CiviEvent? ie csv format etc?

easiest way would be to use the Find Contributions function and then choose to export the output to csv.

Quick addition to Henry's post ... assuming you assign a consistent Contribution Type to event payments ("Event Fee" is the applicable type provided in the default configuration) - then you can limit your search and export to only event-related payments.

Is there any way to get the Event Type field exported as well?

No - the Participant Export doesn't include Event Type. We will be beefing up the component exports (including Participant) - and allowing folks to pick/map fields they want - so that should support event type too.
