true relational searches

I'm wondering if someone has been able to perform a true relational advanced search in the civicrm database. have tried search builder and it seems useless for this unless I've missed it. In other words, to be able to search by all employees of org defined by certain criteria, for example , all individuals working for any organization within a 25 mile radius of city x. have longed look for this with no results. if someone could advise, very much appreciated.

on the latest civi, you can display related contacts in the advanced search. Probably does what you want in most of the cases where you can use the advanced search.

Might also want to check the view integration for more "true relational search" capabilities
