Yet another PEAR issue with CiviCRM - help! [solved]
November 22, 2011, 05:14:17 pm
Hey everyone,

I've done alot of troubleshooting today to try to solve a problem related to another drupal module, og_mailinglist, and have narrowed it down to this error message:

<b>Fatal error</b>:  Cannot redeclare _pear_call_destructors() (previously declared in /usr/share/pear/PEAR.php:735) in <b>/var/www/vhosts/kabissa.org/httpdocs/sites/all/modules/civicrm/packages/PEAR.php</b> on line <b>811</b><br />

og_mailinglist is a module that turns organic groups into mailing lists (like a listserv). The error occurs when a message comes from the mail system to be posted to the organic group and distributed to all group members. Even when the error occurs, the message is posted correctly to organic group - but it is not distributed to all group members.

When I disable the civicrm module on the site, the error goes away and og_mailinglist works correctly.

I'm eager to resolve this issue and would be grateful for any advice on what to do.

Thanks!

Tobias
