Membership Types Error

Hi everyone. I'm trying to configure Membership Types. I get the following error when I try to choose Membership Organization. "Too many matching results. Please narrow your search by entering a more complete target contact name." This is what I'm doing. I'm entering the name of my organization and then hitting search.

My site is cathla.org, joomla 1.5.25, civiCRM 3.4.4, hosted at bluehost.com.

I also tried entering directly into phpMyAdmin, but wasn't clear about the required elements.

Any feedback would be helpful and appreciated.

Hi

Had the same problem myself with 18,000 plus organisations when trying to relate to an organisation in membership type.

Solution = do not have any spaces in the org name, instead use %

ie... My%Company%Name instead of My Company Name

Worked for me...good luck
