Exposing some member types to the public
February 04, 2008, 01:55:17 pm
Hi,

Is there a fairly simple way to provide both a list and detailed records for specific member types to the public (i.e. without any login?)

Thanks!

Assuming Drupal:

(1) Create a smart group for the member type you want to expose.
(2) Create a new CiviCRM Profile for your listing page... limit to your smart group and select the fields your want to expose.
(3) Set drupal view listings access control appropriately-- allow anonymous users to access listings.
(4) Create hyperlink to the listings page.

Instant searchable directory.
