Then go to admin > Configure > CiviGroup Role Sync
December 01, 2011, 04:41:20 am
Hello,

Hope there's a 30 second answer to this for someone out there as I'm sure I'm just missing something little. Have activated the CiviGroup Roles Sync module, have checked permissions (Administrator, which I have) but not seeing any option for CiviGroup Roles Sync on the configuration screen (Drupal 7). Any ideas why?

Thank you!

Hi Pete, Thanks, only just seen your reply - I'm not seeing a CiviCRM section under configuration (if that's what you mean?)

looks like this was a bug in 4.0.2 with incorrect naming of drupal permissions.  The permission was called 'access settings' in the hook_menu but 'access civicrm group role setting' in hook_permission Fixed in trunk at least: http://svn.civicrm.org/civicrm/trunk/drupal/modules/civicrm_group_roles/civicrm_group_roles.module
