PayPal first name last name gone on civicrm 1.9 and firefox

using 1.9

issue 1.  using IE7
when participant registers for an event, and puts the required information in such as First Name Last Name, email address, address, city, state, and zip.  and then goes and clicks on the paypal link.  once it takes me to the "review page", the first name and last name are missing.  but if i click on go back.. its there.

issue 2. firefox 2.0.0.11
when clicking on the paypal button i get page not found.. only on firefox...

For issue #2, are you using PayPal Express? What URL is it trying to load when you get Page Not Found?

I tested the "test-drive" mode on our demo w/ PayPal Pro - clicking the Express button w/ Firefox 2.0 gives me the expected Paypal page w/ prompt to login to developer central. Do you get that from here:

keep in mind. .it only happens in firefox not in ie.

Issue #2 - Don't really have any ideas on this. Could be a cookie problem - but you'll need to do searching on PayPal support sites / the net...
