Hi - this has probably been covered in other posts and may be obvious to others too.

But I was surprised to find that when I set up an ACL for some Users they had not ability to edit the Groups to which the contacts they have permission to edit belong.
Scenario
Counselling Service.
Group A are Managers
Group B are the Counselling Pool
Group C are the Counselling Roster.

So Group A should be limited to only have access to Group B - and their task is to add people to the Roster, and then remove them.

Seems the only way I can manage this is to make two ACLs so that
Group A have access to Group B
Group A also have access to Group C

So, if I wanted Group A to be able to add/subtract the users they have access to, to a large range of groups, i would have to make an ACL for each group.

I don't think this makes sense, so either I have hit an issue or I have mangled my set up and Permissions.

Any hints?

I have been through my Drupal Permissions with several fine toothed combs but only way I seem to be able to do the above is the additional ACL. Hope that is clear enough.
