Record a Donation From Phonebank

I want to be able to allow my interns to record a donation or a pledge From the Civi Campaign Phonebank reserve respondents screen...  So they get their list of people to call.  If they want to donate we can take their information right there and process the donation or mark it as a pledge to mail them a donation form in the mail...  Any ideas?  I like them being able to update their profile on  the screen it would just be nice if we could record a donation...  I use joomla 1.7 and civi 4.0.7

I'm curious as to why there were no replies. It seems like a reasonable question and a valid use case.
