I´m facing a problem with concerning group/smart groups permissions.

Let´s say I have a global contact group for a specific department. I gave  View/Edit ACL permissions for the role of the department. Now they can search and view the contacts without any problems. However, when they want to create a new Smart Group (for mailing list) over a selection of the global group, they have the option to create the new smart group, but as soon as it is created, it is not automatic visible for them (The administrator needs to create the ACL in order to be visible for the department).

In other words, is it necessary to create specific ACL´s for each created group / smart group???. The person who creates a new group should always be able to see it.
