Error when entering new event in CiviEvent

When entering a new event I am able to complete the first screen fine; however, after completing location information and clicking continue I receive the following error. The error does not occur if I do not click the show location box. Anyone know what this might be?

most likely the error is due to yahoo/google mapping. you have that enabled, BUT your host does not allow the code to connect to those servers. you might need to talk to your host to get the mapping servers whitelisted

a good way to confirm that this happens, is to enable backtrace (in the administer civicrm > global settings > debugging) and see where the below error gets thrown

thanks for your help-once I enabled the backtrace- it actually looks like it is the usps address standardization that is causing the error.  Once I removed those settings the error disappeared.
