Custom Report not being displayed
December 16, 2011, 08:30:53 pm
Hi all.  I'm having an issue with a custom report and thought someone here might be able to help.  I've added a couple of new fields to an existing report by copying that report into my custom civicrm code path.  On my local machine the report works great.  The new (customized one) is recognized and displayed so that all is right in the world.  Once I svn committed it to the client server however, things aren't working.  It seems to recognize the report that's in the standard civicrm directory tree and not the one in the custom civicrm directory.  I've checked that the file path is set correctly under global settings, I've cleared all caches.  Can anyone think of something I may've missed?

Thanks!

Hi Erik,

In response to your question, yes.  I've followed all those steps.  I did not rename the custom report.  It shares the same name as the report in the main civicrm path, but it is my understanding that with a custom report having the same name present in the civcirm custom path, the custom report should be displayed in place of the "non-custom" one.  Again, this works on my development station, but not on the client server.  Any ideas?

Thanks,
aj

No, that scenario works fine for me...nothing to do with authorization on the server?
