Solved - Profile as drupal registration not inserting email into civicrm contact
December 22, 2011, 03:50:36 am
Using Drupal 7 & Civicrm 4.0.x (latest), I have a simple profile - individual for display name, first name, last name with use for Drupal registration ticked.
All of this works fine. An anonymous user can come to the Drupal site, click create account, enter email address, username, display name, first name, last name and get sent an email. They then click the one time login link and gets approved and made an authorized user. An account is created in Drupal and a contact is made in Civicrm.
BUT the email address they entered on the account creation page is not in the Civicrm contact but is in the Drupal account.
I have tried adding an email field to the profile, but it does not show up on the user registration page.

I must be missing something obvious. Any suggestions?
   Thanks

Edit--
Answer - embarrassingly, you have to set a default mailing address... duh
Sorry
