Inaccurate receipt date for Credit Card contributions

I recently noticed that when submitting a credit card in the administrative area of CiviCRM that the 'Received Date' ends up as "December 31st, 1969 7:00pm".  I'm currently using Joomla 1.7.1 and CiviCRM 4.0.6.

can you replicate it on http://sandbox.joomla.civicrm.org and if you are able to replicate please file a bug report in issue tracker
