Playing around with the D6 demo, it appears that if you add reminders to an event template and then create a new event from the template, that the reminders are not copied to the new event.

This seems like a missing feature.  There's not much point being able to add reminders to event templates if they don't transfer to new events.

Can you please file an issue for this. If you can investigate and file a patch that would be great and help a lot

Event reminder feature was added in 4.1 and is working on d6 4.1 sandbox. Please check http://sandbox.drupal6.civicrm.org/civicrm/event/manage/reminder?reset=1&action=update&id=10

Filed issue here:

I suspect a patch is beyond me but I'll give it a shot once I get 4.1.b1 installed on my test server (having an upgrade issue at the moment).

The issue is that reminders that exist in event templates are not copied to new events created from that template.  I just re-confirmed that its not working on D6 demo site.

This event template has a reminder:
http://sandbox.drupal6.civicrm.org/civicrm/event/manage/settings?action=update&id=5&reset=1

But this event created from the template does not:
http://sandbox.drupal6.civicrm.org/civicrm/event/manage/location?action=update&reset=1&id=12
