directory structure templates_c

I am not sure about this is an issue or not.

I am using civcrm in Dutch language. In templates_c my nl_NL directory is in the en_US directory.
Structure:
/templates_c/en_US/nl_NL.

This is not the structure I have in my mind:  the nl_NL in the templates_c directory.
Structure:
/templates_c/en_US
                     /nl_NL

Is this an issue?

Generally it would be /templates_c/nl_NL but anyway these directories are just for CiviCRM--they're not for anyone to read. So if it works, I would ignore it.
