Mail logging?
December 30, 2011, 03:14:15 pm
I'm trying to use the "Email Contribution Receipts" functionality, but for some reason when I hit the "Process receipt(s)" button, the request times out & I get an error page.

Now I'm not sure whether these folks have had a receipt email sent to them or not.  I don't want to just try again, because I might end up spamming my contributors!  Is there a way to check whether the messages were sent to the SMTP server or not?

If not, a logging feature would be really helpful.

It would also be handy in the instances where I select a dozen or so people, send a receipt to them, and on the confirmation page I get a message like "3 contacts didn't get messages, because they either have no email address, or have opted out of emails, or [something else?]" - I can't tell which 3 without a fair amount of guesswork.
