import database clean-up
January 02, 2012, 11:08:20 am
After an import, a database table is created, civicrm_import_job_alphanumerichere. After numerous imports, numerous tables. (Same with export.) This can bloat the database by MBs.

Can you just delete these tables? Is there a database housekeeping procedure anywhere, like purging import and export tables?

Thanks,
Helen

Yes you can delete them.

 There was discussion about having them automatically dropped when you upgrade (on the assumption you wouldn't be upgrading if you were half way through an import :-) but I'm not sure it was implemented

Just to clarify, there are export_temp and task_action_temp tables too and they can also be dropped?
