Linking to (Joomla) user IDs
January 03, 2012, 05:03:08 am
User records link to CMS (Joomla) user accounts, and you can see which one easily enough. But I frequently encounter cases where people are linked to the wrong user accounts (primarily parents linked to the account of their children and visa versa). You do not seem to be able to edit this field in the GUI.

How do I do it (either in the GUI or directly to the database) - I assume there is a table mapping (CiviCRM) IDs and (Joomla) IDs but I can't see it. Essntially I want to be able to move Joomla ID x from CiviID y to CiviID z.

Thanks.
