simple but useful features

I'd like to show the Case Subject in a profile that is used in activities.

I'd like to show the Case Subject in the Activity Report if an activity is part of a case.

Are these planned in future releases?

No changes to civicase are being planned for 4.2. Any chance you can contribute patches for the below if you think they are useful to a larger section of the case community. Might be good to hear more details on your proposal and feedback from other case users

How about doing those 2 together during Q1 of 2012? When do you need it Hans?

Hi fil,

Not sure that's the same issue you have than the one discussed.

You can have different type of cases, for that you need to configure what type of activities/relationship they can have (that's a xml file to write)

Hi Xavier,
It's 2 day i am on the Xml files  :-\ for that question.
My problem is create one case not starting with a contact (or fews contacts) but with a subject (ex:  the last press realease) and use  a group of contacts (individual and organisation) ...

Any solution

thx

That does not sound like a case...

I think you should look in the direction of a Campaign.
You can assign activities, newsletters, contributions etc. to a Campaign.

Another option might be to use tagsets (you can tag contacts/activities/cases...)

Have a look at both, they haven't the same aim, but both allow to group activities & contacts .
