The "confirm and continue" button, move it to the top?
January 06, 2012, 08:10:11 am
Hi, I've noticed a 10% to 20% failure of users to understand the confirmation process, that on a contribution page they must scroll to the bottom (past all the many fields) and click the button again to submit.

I understand this seems logical to us (Civi people), but evidently the general public doesn't agree.

Would it be prudent to move the button to the top of the page of the confirmation page?  (just on the confirmation page, not the first page)

Might help.

This makes a lot of sense and is consistent with other ecommerce interfaces which typically repeat action buttons in several places on pages and forms.

Stuart - would be especially good if you can test the changes on a 'customized' event reg or online contribution template set.
