We have a request to be able to retrieve pledge data from a contribution search. The customer has a custom field that they can either enter on each of the 36 pledge payments or once against the pledge.

I have customised the book-keeping report for them so they can search on / include pledge custom fields in it.

However, ideally it would be possible from contribution search. This seems to me to be something we've come at before from quite a few angles....

Is there anything in the pipeline which might lead to this sort of thing becoming available? I guess it would be a case of making 'contribution search' able to search multiple tables like 'advanced search' does.
