Incorporating Joomla Username and Password as CiviMail Tokens
January 08, 2012, 06:19:32 pm
This is a follow-up to post http://forum.civicrm.org/index.php?topic=19822.0.

I followed the instructions in the post, trying to do the same thing as the poster did to enable Joomla usernames and passwords to be used as CiviMail tokens.  I dropped the table and created the view successfully, but when I try to use the tokens, no data pulls in.  I named my view the same as original table (civicrm_value_joomla_data_9) and the column names in the original table match the column names in the view.

Can anyone help me troubleshoot this?  Or, if there's a different way to incorporate this data into CiviMail, maybe through a hook (which I've not done before, but am willing to try), I'd like to know about that as well.

Thanks!

I figured it out.  My test system was pointing to the production database thus didn't see the database change.

Thanks!
