Memberships can have finish date which precedes start date
February 07, 2008, 05:52:14 pm
This was reported to me by one of our users - I wouldn't have thought to check it myself :)

It's possible to add a membership where the finish date precedes the membership start date.

I can't imagine a real-world use case for this, and it would probably be more useful to warn users (having most likely failed to move the finish date's year selector into the next year).

Verified on 1.9 by myself.

You should probably submit this in the bug tracker at http://issues.civicrm.org/jira/browse/CRM?report=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.project:roadmap-panel.

DOesn't seem to be a problem in the sandbox 2.0 - it throws up an error message saying END has to be after START
