Confirm Contribution button not using base URL
January 14, 2012, 02:24:43 pm
I am using the following:

Joomla 1.5.23
CiviCRM 3.4.5
PHP 5.3.6
Site: christianmontessorischool.org

I'm having multiple issues, although I'll start with the one in the subject.  My site works fine overall with SEF turned on, but when I installed CiviCRM, I installed it on a temporary domain (while waiting for the DNS changes), which was christianmontessorischool.railsplayground.net.

I created a contribution page which displays properly.  However, when I click on the confirm contribution button, I get errors (the errors differ but appear to be related).  The main problem I see is that the URL no longer uses the base URL, but instead uses the old railsplayground.net domain.  Incidentally, it looks like it also does not use SEF, although I don't mind...if I can get the page working.

If anyone can shed light on why this is happening (or at least how to fix it) then I can move on to what appears to be PHP errors...although I may have to go to the PHP boards for that.

Thanks!
David

1. Pretty sure CiviCRM does not play well with Joomla SEF

2. Might want to check and ensure u've all the steps here:
