Hello,

I'd like to have a real mailing list (a single address with all the members can post and reply, not a newsletter type) plugged on some CiviCRM groups.

The mailing list manager sympa (http://www.sympa.org) allows to set custom sql queries to fetch the list of members of a list, before going down that road, I was wondering if someone has already tried with sympa or another mailing list manager, as I haven't found anything in the forum.

i have the exact same question, i am wondering what you could get out of this. did you have some results?

I've been synching with mailman for over a year. Works rock solid.
