Install 4.0.8 - Cannot chmod ...Sites/acquia-drupal/sites/all/modules/civicrm
January 16, 2012, 01:45:24 pm
Hi,

I have Drupal Desktop installed (7.9.9) on Windows 7, and after installing, tried to install CiviCRm using the instructions at the wiki.

The installation failed with the message that it couldn't

Cannot chmod /Users/Gordon/Sites/acquia-drupal/sites/all/modules/civicrm

However, there was no ../.acquia-drupal/sites/all/modules/civicrm

folder. Instead, several files, some clearly named as being part of civicrm, were in the .../sites/all folder. That seemed odd in light of the error message. And of course, there's no chmod command on Windows, so I wondered if that were part of the error or an additional error.

Has anyone seen this and is aware of how to address it? Thanks,

Gordon

Hi. I don't know what "Drupal Desktop" is, but anyhow can you share the URL you are using to install CiviCRM?
