Current employer dropdown not working with specific fields selected

When selecting 'state/province' or 'Country' for 'Autocomplete Contact Search' in http://sandbox.drupal.civicrm.org/civicrm/admin/setting/search?reset=1 the dropdown in the contact field 'Current Employer' is not working. For example in http://sandbox.drupal.civicrm.org/civicrm/contact/add?reset=1&context=search&action=update&cid=9,

Tested on the sandbox, follow the llinks.

There was a bug: http://issues.civicrm.org/jira/browse/CRM-9480

Fix will be part of next beta.

Are you sure this is the same? The descriptions are different.
Also the sandbox is powered by CiviCRM 38485, issue 9480 comment from january 16 speaks about: fixed in rev 38380. Solved in the sandbox according version numbers(?). The bug is still present.
May be you are right, I can not judge, I don't have the next beta and I'm not an expert in php.
