Hi All,

I am just wondering about the group subscription feature as of 1.9. Perhaps this has already been brought up, but I've done some searching and don't see it mentioned.

If you are a user and are already subscribed to a CiviMail group, but then revisit the subscription page and try to resubscribe to a group, you get the same subscription and welcome emails. What do you think about having an email instead that says something like "you're already subscribed to this group!".

Just curious; t doesn't seem like too big a deal because it doesn't set your status back to pending, but could just be a nice feature.

I think it would be a nice feature. Please file an issue in our issue tracker and we’ll try to implement it in CiviCRM 2.1.
