Urgent Please Help MailScanner Fraud Attempt and Wrong Redirect
January 24, 2012, 06:39:54 am
Hello,

Just launched a civi site integrated with Joomla. Members are receiving this error after trying to update their account info. After they click save or cancel, they are being redirected to the ip where I had the site up when testing. I've checked my url settings in civi and everything appears to be set up correctly.

I don't quite understand this MailScanner error. There is nothing fraudulent about the site.

Any help would be much appreciated as this is rather urgent.

Thank You -M

This doesn't appear to be a CiviCRM issue. See this page about possible issues with MailScanner.

Did you run this SQL:

Code: [Select]
UPDATE `civicrm_domain` SET `config_backend`=NULL ;
to remove the old IP?

Hello again Hershel :)

I'm not too familiar with sql commands, I just type that exact phrase into the sql of the database and click go, right?

Thanks,

M

I ran exactly what you posted and the error still persists.

Thanks,

Max

Yes you just type that in and run it.

Did anything on that page I referenced make sense?

All fixed.

That article didn't make a ton of sense. But I think because the link to renew membership was pointing to the old ip rather than the new domain had something to do with it. Anyways, it's all straightened out now.

Thanks again!
