Constituent report error
January 25, 2012, 08:30:19 am
I've got a custom field set on my data that allows multiple records.

One field is set as a text field that could be searched on.

When I run the standard constituent report, I get a duplicate contact record showing for each instance of this text field on the record, regardless of whether it is shown in the results of the report. If I unselect the searchable box forthe field, I get one record showing for each contact.

Is this a bug?

Can you check the report code and figure out a patch to avoid the below. I dont think multiple record custom fields were considered when adding support for custom fields

I'll take a look and see if I can figure it - just wanted to check I'd not missed something obvious.

We had the same problem with multiple records on searchable options.  did not matter what data or field type.  For each searchable label we had an extra contact record on constituent reports.
