Profile to register Individual and Organisation
January 27, 2012, 10:54:56 pm
Hi
I am looking for some help creating registration profiles for individuals along with their organisation details. They also need to be able to edit their information once logged in.
I have various kinds of user, one of which is a volunteer along with a some custom fields, I have set this profile up and this is working. I now need to set up a profile for an organisation along with a Drupal user who is the main contact for that organisation, this is where I am having problems, I have the profile for the person and I have the profile for the organisation but I am not able to link the two.
I also tried using webform_civicrm and this works for creating the contact linked to the organisation but does not create the Drupal user.
Julie

Just incase anyone else needs to do this I have resolved the problem by creating a civicrm profile for an individual that is auto asigned to a group, this profile creates the Drupal user.
Then once that user has logged in they can fill out a civicrm_webform that links them to an organisation via relationship Contact 1 to Contact 2. They are then able to update their contact and organisation details any time they are logged in.
