Setting the correct timezone
January 30, 2012, 06:10:10 am
Hi.

This seems to be a hotly discussed topic, but after searching through the various posts I'm still failing. Here's the issue:

I'm trying to set the CiviCRM timezone to UK time. From what I've read it is set by the server and can be adjusted by amending the phpini file. I did this and (as you can see from the screenshot) when I run a phpinfo on the site it is all set correctly as Europe/London. But when I go to add a new activity the time is still out by 7 hours.

(Working in Joomla (1.7) with the latest stable CiviCRM.)

Anyone got any ideas?

PS. CiviCRM is fantastic. It's taken me ages to learn my way round it but it's now running for several of my sites doing some pretty complicated stuff!
