Robustness of CiviContribute compared with DonorPerfect?
January 30, 2012, 08:39:19 pm
Anyone out there who has experience with both CiviContribute and DonorPerfect?

I am trying to pitch CiviCRM as a great candidate for my organization, because it holds the potential of allowing us to merge all our separate database silos (donor mgmt, member mgmt, camp/event mgmt, web site + sales) into a single product. But I'm hearing nervousness about whether CiviContribute can supply all the desired functionality. This bias seems to be based largely on an existing level of comfort about previous experience with DonorPerfect, along with happy-sounding reviews like IdealWare's latest comparative report.

I'm working on getting our specs more carefully delineated, and on setting our Development Director up with the CiviCRM demo. But I'd love help in connecting with any other orgs that might be willing to compare notes about their own experiences with this comparison.

Thanks for any help.
