I use a testing group for sending CiviMail tests to, to speed up my testing and send to multiple accounts at once.

However I'm always concerned that I'll pick the wrong group and send my test email wider than it should go. I have received a test CiviMail from an organisation so I know this happens!

To stop this from happening you could prevent a group from being sent test CiviMails, in the Group settings.

mostly needs someone to step up and do it and persuade the core team to accept it as an 'improvement' though lobo has his reservations
