Set contact sub type
February 12, 2008, 11:35:23 am
I'm Using Drupal 5.7 and CiviCRM 1.9.
What is the best way to set a user's Contact Sub Type?

Thanks in advance...

You'll have to do this directly in the db using phpmyadmin or via php code. Note that we dont expose / support it in CiviCRM. There are plans to use it a lot more in a future 2.x release

we have used it quite nicely in a couple of custom modules (gcc, quest) and find it quite useful. We suspect it is a pretty powerful way of extending and connecting the main contact record to other tables etc
