Has anyone created a Facebook page tab with a Civi- signup form?

I'd like users to be able to signup for our enewsletter directly from a tab on our Facebook page. Has anyone done this before and been successful? New to Civi, so please excuse my ignorance if this has already been done...

I haven't tried this with facebook, but you can use profiles to put a form on an html page.

This page in the FLOSS manual gives you a good head start:
