Creating 100's of Smart Groups

Is there a way to create a lot of virtually identical smart groups.

I have to make 3 sets of about 100 smart groups, and the only thing that will change between any one of the 100 smart groups in each set is the number of a custom field?

But i do think having support for "tokenized" smart group (i.e. u pass the value of the token via the URL would be awesome). Thus u can get the contacts from each of the 50 states via just one smart group rather than 50 smart groups etc

Can you take a look at the code and figure out what needs to be done. Its a bit non-trivial, IMO. Alternatively if your org can help sponsor part/most of this development that would help (i suspect its a 50-100 hour project)

We have many constituencies in our organization. I want to have a smart group representing the members of each constituency for mailing list purposes.

As for contributing to an MIH, I'll take a look, but I just contributed to CiviMobile last night so that might be it for this cycle.
