A new client is running a WordPress site and would love to stick with it. I was wondering if

  • How much of the code is re-used between Drupal and WordPress?
  • What is the state of security? They would like to have people register, update contact info and sign up for memberships for the first phase. Is that pretty solid?
  • Is there any documentation for WordPress specific tasks? If not, where can I add to it? In the Wiki?

1. 99.99% (or something close to that)

2. pretty much at the same level as the other CMS'es. We expose a very limited number of functions to the WP end user

3. I dont think there are any wordpress specific tasks (other than the installation, which is documented on the wiki)
