Hi,

When I try to use 'americanexpress' for a test payment...I get this :

SOAP-ENV:Client:Data type '' mismatch in element 'CreditCardType'

If I use 'visa', I get this :

status
    Payment Processor Error message:
10002:Security error Security header is not valid

Im using drupal 5.1 and civicrm 1.7

Check the value under Administer CiviCRM >> CiviContribute >> Accepted Credit Cards. We changed the value from "American Express" to "Amex" in 1.7 - which is what it should be. However, if you're running an upgraded site, you'll probably need to change it yourself.

The Security header problem is likely related to mismatch between the domain you used when created the PayPal signature and the domain you're currently using. Check out this thread on the mailing list http://www.nabble.com/Problem-with-Civicontribute-1.7-tf3490306s15986.html#a9753574
