tracked links result in page not found
February 09, 2012, 10:27:12 am
if I select track click throughs links result in a page not found error.

Without tracking the url's are fine.

I have base url set in civicrm_settings.php
I have re-instated settings_location.php in modules/civicrm

settings_location.php sets the absolute path to civicrm_settings.php - I've tried '/path/to/sites' (which has oddly worked in the past) and 'path/to/sites/default' (which is where the settings are actually located) - I've also tried these with trailing slashes...

None of these make any difference.

I'll do without tracking for now, but would like to track click throughs...

What have I done wrong? (or rather undone, since this has worked in the past!)

All kind suggestions gratefully investigated!

Hey, I am also seeing strange behavior from my clickthroughs and I'm wondering whether it's some kind of configuration issue.

I've got two instances of civi version 3.4.7 running as virtual hosts on a server. Both are set up to send out mailers, but when I enable clickthroughs one consistently sends links that lead to a blank page. It's the tracker url.php, but it's failing to redirect, and when I check civicrm_mailing_trackable_url there appear to be malformed or superfluous links.

Meanwhile, the second Civi's clickthrough links are happy as clams.

I've checked civicrm.settings.php to ensure that urls are set appropriately, I've checked the Resource, Directory URL, and Directories, all of them seem to be set appropriately, I've checked permissions and they seem mostly identical.

I am really lost. Would love some insight.

EDIT: ah, right. I am using Joomla version 1.5
