I want to create some smart groups but I can't figure out how to do this one from the advanced search

I want to create a smart group of individuals who belong to group a and do not have tag b set.

I can do individuals who belong to group a and have tag b set, but how do I do the reverse?

hi,
here's what you do:
--click on search and select custom searches
--select "Include / Exclude Contacts in a Group / Tag"
--choose the group(s) you want to include and choose the tag(s) you want to exclude in the section at the bottom
--click on search, select "new smart group" from the actions drop-down menu and click on "go"

that should do what you want.

Sorry doesn't work - will not select only Individuals - it selects everything (organizations & individuals)
