How to place events on home dashboard
February 10, 2012, 09:01:36 am
Hi all,

Is it possible to create a dashlet(?) of a event so that it can be placed on the home dashboard?

Is there any other way to get a event to show up on the home dashboard viewable anonymous users?

With Warmest Regards,
Penn

Not sure if this answers your question or not but dashlets are directly derived from reports.  There are some default event reports or you can create one with exactly what you want by using the search function and saving the search.  All reports are enabled for the dashboard by simply checking the box in any report -> report settings -> other options and you will see one titled "available for the dashboard?"  The anonymous part will depend on permissions listed in CMS for CiviEvent and then the particular event setup.

No problem. I use the handy dandy Show new replies to your posts link by your name and icon at the upper left of your forum pages.  That way you can simply refresh there and see them as they are replied to.  That way you don't miss anything.

Or, click the "Notify" button at the bottom of the page.
