slow execution times
February 10, 2012, 05:32:55 pm
I am attempting to use civiCRM 4.0 with Joomla 2.5. I have done three csv imports of approximately 25 records (with 5 - 10 fields). All have been extremely slow (5 minutes or more) in step 1 (connecting to the csv file). After that the subsequent steps work just fine.

I am having a similar issue when I try to add a relationship. All goes reasonable well until the save and then again it's 5 minutes or more for a save.

Do you have any suggestions?

seems like something is wrong with the setup. I would use firebug or monitor detailed web logs to see whats taking so long and why

Can you tell me more? What am I doing with Firebug or what am I looking for in the logs? I do use Firebug for css. What can it tell me about slow load times?

i dont know if firebug is the proper tool, but if u click on the Net tab u'll see the various load times.

for post requests, i'm not too sure firebug can do it, u'll need to check the docs and or find another plugin. please update this forum topic with your findings
