Groups by mistake - how to remove history

Had a few data boo boos now need to remove group memberships .
Doesnt make sense to keep the audit trail for mistakes.

If i know the contact id what tables records do I need to delete to stop historical relationships showing ?

civicrm_group_contact table has the "history" (group_id linked to contact_id with status)
