Looking for CiviCRM support and training
February 13, 2012, 03:20:37 pm
Hello there,

I work with a small, volunteer-run nonprofit that currently uses CiviCRM 3.0.1, integrated into a drupal website. This is a system we inherited, and none of our staff were really properly trained on how to most effectively use it. We've also found it extremely slow, which makes us want to use it even less. I am assuming it needs some real maintenance and updates, and we now finally have a budget to tackle this.

We are a small social justice/anti-violence organization located in NYC and would appreciate someone local who could talk us through what our options are and perhaps get us trained and up-to-speed. Please contact me at sarahm AT safercampus DOT org if you're interested.

(easy enuf to train on current platform)  also if you're on a shared hosted environment (classically underpowered in terms of RAM)... this would explain the slowness .. I live in S.F. but can come to NYC for a week or two to hold your hands.
