Missing Contact Details

Hi
I hope someone can help, I have a new install of civicrm 4.0.6 with Drupal 7 and all was working ok until today I went in to add a new individual contact and and the first section is missing. That is Prefix, first name, last name current employer etc is there some setting I may have inadvertantly changed without realising??

Not sure if this is related but I got the following error when running update.php after updating some Drupal modules
    Notice: Use of undefined constant id - assumed 'id' in civicrm_views_data() (line 4861 of /home/sltruweb/public_html/sites/all/modules/civicrm/drupal/modules/views/civicrm.views.inc)

Well I disabled calender module upgraded civicrm to 4.8 and I now have the missing fields back
