Fixed. Search Profile -> Print Mailing labels giving 404 Page

I've got a problem when I try to creating mailing labels from a search result - when I click 'Make Mailing Lables' it gives me an error 404 page not found.

This is on Joomla 1.7.5 + CiviCRM 4.0.8. The strange thing is I copied the site and database to another location to try and fix it but couldn't recreate the problem. Same shared hosting, same site and dbse, but the mailing labels work.

Have turned on debugging, flushed cache and cache tables, and templates_c folder, no difference or clues. Nor can I find anyone else with the same problem online so not sure what to try next.

I am thinking maybe there's some common problems that cause a CiviCRM process in Joomla to lead to a 404.

Thanks,
Nic

After more tests, this seems to be connected to Ioncube or a custom PHP.ini that I had to create to get Ioncube working on my server (to run JReviews which demands Ion :( ).

The only difference between the domains where one install was working and one wasn't was that the working one didn't have a custom php.ini & ioncube. Now it does, mailing label pdf's have stopped working too.

Have contacted the forum for the php.ini installer to try and resolve - will post back if successful.

Just in case anyone ever gets the same issue, the problem was a custom Php.ini that had been installed on Dreamhost thru an auto-script - disabling it fixed the PDF issue, but then the dreaded (and unavoidable) Ioncube loader didn't work.

Upgrading to PHP 5.3 and using a custom phprc file instead did fix it ( http://wiki.dreamhost.com/IonCube_Loader ).
