CivicCRM and WordPress install and automatic email notification of new users
February 14, 2012, 11:39:25 am
I want to give the new WordPress version of CiviCRM a try and I want to use my existing data exported from my production server to my test server.

My concern is that if I read correctly that CiviCRM will auto create user accounts for WordPress for all contacts, is does that mean that it will automatically email all of my contacts the auto-generated new user email that WordPress sends out?

I wouldn't want this to happen on my test server and maybe not my production environment either.

Hopefully now that this is live, someone can reply on what happened when they imported their members.

I could have misinterpreted my understanding, but this is where I thought that would occur.
