Author Topic: I can't get dashboard to display in Joomla, not even on demo. (Read 1170 times)

On the demo site j16.demo.civicrm.org I created a menu item to show the Dashboard. Then I create a new user and login the front-end, but when I click on the Dashboard menu item I get a CiviCRM permission access error. What step am I missing?

I've tried on different configurations with the same results.

If the new user is in the "Registered" group, you'll need to update the CiviCRM component Access Control settings for that group to Allow access to the Contact Dashboard. CiviCRM > Administer > Manage > Access Control > Joomla Access Control
